Resolution institue is holding the the inaugural International Women’s Day Breakfast featuring guest speakers with unique experience in dealing with conflict and negotiation in high-crisis and volatile situations. Sandy Macken, Rockpool author of 'True Australian Story. Paramedic' shares her thoughts on managing conflict in frontline emergency health. Joined by  former Commissioner of the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) Adam Dent as he recounts his experiences in dealing with emergencies such as the Hunter Valley super storm, the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires and the 2010-11 Victorian floods. Our final speaker, Melanie Hawyes, former Executive Lead for Youth Justice Services in NSW will speak about her time dealing with volatile situations in youth detention centres.
